Sibutramine combined with microcrystalline cellulose (Reduxin) produces clinically significant weight loss (average 20.0 kg over 12 months) and reduces waist circumference in patients with alimentary obesity and comorbidities.
For patients with obesity and comorbidities, a 12-month course of sibutramine (Reduxin) under medical supervision can result in significant weight loss (approx. 20kg) and waist reduction. Heart rate does not significantly increase with proper monitoring.
