Self-reported macronutrient intake (fat, carbs, protein, sugar) is not consistently associated with future hypothalamic gliosis in humans.
Unlike in animal studies, simply changing your macronutrient ratios (fat, carbs, protein) doesn't seem to predict brain inflammation in humans. Focus on overall metabolic health rather than obsessing over specific macronutrient percentages for brain health.
