Consistent daily self-weighing is independently associated with less weight regain and successful long-term weight loss maintenance.

Weigh yourself daily at the same time. Do not let the number dictate your mood; use it as a dashboard light. If the number goes up, adjust your food or activity slightly immediately. This prevents small gains from becoming large regains.
