The hypertrophic benefit of creatine supplementation is modestly greater in younger adults compared to older adults, although the effect remains small in both groups.

Younger lifters may see a slightly better muscle growth boost from creatine than older lifters, but the difference is small. Older adults should still use creatine as it provides a small benefit, even if the magnitude is lower than in youth.
