Genotype-matched dietary interventions (low-fat vs. low-carbohydrate) may not consistently predict weight loss success in postmenopausal women compared to general overweight populations.

Do not rely solely on genetic testing to dictate whether you should eat low-fat or low-carb. Focus on sustainable dietary patterns like DASH or MED, as genotype matching has not consistently proven superior for weight loss in recent large studies.
