Increasing protein intake from a moderate level (1.8 g/kg/day) to a high level (2.9 g/kg/day) does not provide additional satiety benefits for resistance-trained individuals in a caloric deficit.
If you are training and cutting calories, aim for about 1.8g of protein per kg of body weight. Going higher to 2.9g won't help you feel fuller or fight hunger any better, so don't stress about forcing extra protein just for satiety reasons.
