The groups receiving GLP-1RAs displayed a significant decrease in the occurrence of hepatic decompensation events compared to those receiving DPP4 inhibitors (1431 matched pairs; HR, 0.68; 95% CI, 0.53–0.88) and sulfonylureas (1246 matched pairs; HR, 0.64; 95% CI, 0.48–0.84).
