Monounsaturated fat (MUFA) intake has a significant but weak correlation with multiple obesity and coronary indices (CI, AVI, BRI, WWI, AIP), suggesting a less pronounced impact on these specific metrics compared to SFA and PUFA.
In this study, monounsaturated fat (MUFA) intake was weakly correlated with various obesity and heart health markers. While MUFA is generally considered healthy, this study suggests its direct impact on these specific abdominal and coronary indices is less strong than that of saturated or polyunsaturated fats in this population.
