Arachidonic acid supplementation affects body composition, muscle function, and power output in strength-training individuals.

If you are strength training, ensuring adequate ARA intake may support muscle function and power output. Since ARA is naturally present in animal products, a balanced diet likely provides sufficient amounts for most athletes.
