Excessive intake of dietary fat and carbohydrates is significantly associated with elevated blood lipid profiles (high LDL, triglycerides, and total cholesterol) in patients with coronary heart disease.
If you have coronary heart disease, your blood lipid levels are strongly linked to how much fat and carbohydrates you eat. The study shows that eating too much of either significantly increases your risk of having high cholesterol and triglycerides. Hasil penelitian (tabel 2) menunjukkan bahwa 40,6% pasien PJK dengan profil lipid tinggi ternyata mempunyai asupan karbohidrat yang lebih, begitu juga dengan asupan lemak (46,9%). Hasil uji statistik antara asupan karbohidrat dengan profil lipid pada PJK diperoleh nilai p= 0,032 dengan OR= 2,96, dan asupan lemak dengan profil lipid pasien PJK diperoleh nilai p= 0,006 dengan OR= 4,8.
