High-intensity acute exercise suppresses hunger and food intake, whereas low-to-moderate intensity exercise does not significantly affect appetite or food intake.

If your goal is to suppress appetite immediately after working out, prioritize high-intensity exercise (above 60% VO2max). Low and moderate intensity workouts will not provide this appetite-suppressing effect and may even increase hunger.

ModerateQualifiesMEDIUM confidence
Interestingly, studies conducted with high intensity exercise reported that acute intense exercise suppressed hunger and energy intake... Unlike low and moderate intensity short-term exercise, high intensity short-term exercise generally induced short-term negative energy balance and were found to suppress hunger
