Moderate exercise (30-60 minutes per day) improves menstrual cyclicity and ovulation rates in women with PCOS, whereas excessive exercise (>60 minutes) increases the risk of anovulation.
Aim for 30-60 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise daily. This duration improves ovulation and menstrual regularity in about half of women with PCOS. Avoid exercising for more than 60 minutes a day, as this may disrupt ovulation.
