Adiponectin is not a viable direct therapeutic drug due to its high physiological concentration requirements, multiple oligomeric forms, and short half-life, but small-molecule activators like AdipoRon show promise.
You cannot currently take adiponectin as a drug. However, research into small molecules that activate its receptors (like AdipoRon) is promising. For now, focusing on lifestyle factors that naturally support healthy adiponectin levels and receptor sensitivity is the most practical approach.
