Transdermal testosterone gel (50-100 mg/day) normalizes serum testosterone and free testosterone levels in hypogonadal men with significantly lower discontinuation rates due to skin irritation compared to transdermal patches.

For hypogonadal men, transdermal testosterone gel is an effective treatment that normalizes testosterone levels with a much lower risk of skin irritation and discontinuation compared to patches. Dosing can be adjusted (titrated) to ensure levels stay within the normal range, offering flexibility and better adherence.

GoodSupportsHIGH confidence
We conclude that transdermal T gel application can efficiently and rapidly increase serum T and free T levels in hypogonadal men to within the normal range. Transdermal T gel provided flexibility in dosing with little skin irritation and a low discontinuation rate.
