A single exercise session expending 800 kcal or more significantly decreases triglyceride (TG) and VLDL-C concentrations 24 hours post-exercise in trained men.

To lower your triglycerides, you need to burn at least 800 calories in a single exercise session. This effect is seen 24 hours after the workout. Higher energy expenditure (1,100+ kcal) yields greater reductions.
