Using natural spoken language for food logging reduces the perceived burden and difficulty of tracking dietary intake compared to existing manual methods, thereby improving acceptability for sustainable weight management.

If you struggle to stick with food tracking because it feels like a chore, try a voice-activated logging app. This study suggests that speaking your meals into an app is perceived as easier and more accurate than typing or selecting from lists, which may help you stay consistent with tracking your intake.
