Adherence
Adherence to a personalized postprandial-targeting (PPT) diet is associated with greater improvements in glycemic parameters (time in range, fasting glucose, insulin) compared to lower adherence, even when caloric intake is similar.
Strictly following the personalized meal plan provided by the algorithm yields better blood sugar control than loosely following it, even if you don't lose weight. The key is consistency with the specific foods recommended for your body.
We were able to detect significant differences in glycemic parameters changes between participants with higher vs. lower dietary adherence... This included daily time with glucose levels > 140 mg/dl... FPG... fasting insulin... and HOMA-IR... There was also a trend for a greater reduction in HbA1c levels in the higher vs. lower adherence group... Notably, weight change did not differ significantly between these adherence groups
Why this rating
Based on a subgroup analysis of a small pilot trial (n=16), with some trends not reaching statistical significance (HbA1c).
