Adherence
Less discouragement from family and friends regarding healthy eating is associated with positive changes in eating behavior and subsequent weight loss.
If your social circle actively criticizes your healthy eating choices, this negative feedback is a significant barrier to weight loss. Mitigate this by minimizing exposure to such criticism or seeking support from those who do not discourage your dietary efforts.
