Combination therapy using atomoxetine and oxybutynin reduces OSA severity by approximately 60% by activating pharyngeal dilator muscles.
This combination drug is currently in clinical trials (Phase III) and not yet widely available. It targets the muscle function aspect of sleep apnea.
