This made us consider the possibility of tirzepatide causing direct hepatocyte damage rather than the previously known hepatocyte injury as a consequence of gallbladder disease... We calculated the RUCAM... score, which came to be 7, suggesting that tirzepatide is a probable cause of hepatotoxicity in this case.
