The primary composite outcome, which was acute myocardial infarction (AMI), ischemic stroke, and all-cause mortality, was significantly reduced in the tirzepatide group, with a relative risk reduction (RRR) of 40% (hazard ratio [HR]: 0.60; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.42–0.84; P = 0.003).
