Weekly subcutaneous Semaglutide 2.4 mg significantly reduces the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients with established cardiovascular disease and overweight or obesity, primarily by reducing non-fatal myocardial infarction.
If you have heart disease and are overweight, ask your doctor about Semaglutide 2.4mg. It is a weekly injection proven to lower your risk of heart attack and stroke significantly more than placebo, independent of just weight loss.

In November 2023, the authors of the SELECT study showed that the primary cardiovascular end-point event (3P-MACE) occurred in 6.5% of patients in the Semaglutide 2.4 mg weekly subcutaneous group and 8.0% in the placebo group (hazard ratio, 0.80; 95% confidence interval, 0.72 to 0.90; p<0.001 for superiority). In particular, with a reduction in non-fatal myocardial infarction (hazard ratio, 0.72; 95% confidence interval, 0.72 to 0.85). These patients had overweight or obesity and established cardiovascular disease (51).
Why this rating
