Individualized strength-oriented fitness programs significantly improve strength preparedness (maximal strength, endurance, speed-strength) in women of early mature age (21-30 years) even under prolonged war-related environmental stress.
If you are living in a high-stress or crisis environment, do not abandon strength training. Instead, individualize your program to your current capacity and stress levels. Focus on gradual progression of resistance and volume. This approach can maintain and even improve your strength and functional stability despite external chaos.
The findings demonstrated positive changes in most strength fitness indicators in both age subgroups following the five-month intervention. Statistically significant improvements (p<0.05) were observed in leg press, standing long jump, deadlift hold, and squats tests... Overall, individualized strength-oriented programs resulted in measurable improvements in strength preparedness under war-affected conditions.
Why this rating
Small sample size (n=10), single-group pre-post design, no control group, conducted in a specific crisis environment.
