Whole grain intake is not significantly associated with cancer mortality, and substituting whole grains for refined grains or red meat does not significantly reduce cancer mortality.

Do not rely on whole grains alone to prevent cancer. While they are excellent for heart health and overall longevity, this study found no significant link to reduced cancer mortality. Maintain a balanced diet with various vegetables and fruits for cancer prevention, while using whole grains for cardiovascular benefits.
