Short-term resistance training (4 weeks) combined with medium-dose cheese supplementation (13.4g protein/week) optimizes body composition and lipid profiles in healthy untrained adults, whereas low-dose supplementation fails to produce significant improvements compared to training alone.

If you are new to resistance training, adding a moderate amount of cheese (providing ~13g of protein) on your workout days can help improve your body fat and cholesterol levels more than training alone. You do not need to consume large amounts of protein; a medium dose (approx. 216g of the specific cheese used) split around your workout is sufficient. Do not expect this to make you stronger faster than training alone, as strength gains were similar across all groups.
