Greenspace exposure is associated with improved pregnancy outcomes, specifically a reduced risk of preterm birth and small size for gestational age.

For pregnant women, living in or frequently visiting areas with higher greenness is associated with a lower risk of preterm birth and having a baby that is small for gestational age. This suggests that environmental factors play a role in pregnancy health.
