Not all fibre sources are equal in this analysis. Insoluble fibre (found in whole grains, nuts, seeds) and fibre from cereals and vegetables showed stronger associations with risk reduction than fruit fibre alone. Prioritize whole grains and vegetables for maximum cardiovascular benefit.
