Energy balance

There is insufficient evidence to determine a dose-response relationship between physical activity and reductions in abdominal or visceral fat.

Do not rely on exercise alone to target belly fat, as increasing exercise volume does not guarantee proportional belly fat loss. While exercise helps reduce total fat, the specific benefit for abdominal or visceral fat is not dose-dependent and may be limited by your starting body composition.
