Energy balance

Longitudinal changes in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) during the transition from adolescence to young adulthood do not significantly predict incident obesity.

Do not rely on increasing exercise during your late teens and early twenties to prevent obesity. This study shows that changes in physical activity levels during this period do not significantly impact obesity risk. Focus instead on reducing sedentary time (screen time) as the primary strategy for weight management.
