Dietary interventions can rapidly alter gut microbiota composition and function, but long-term changes require sustained dietary habits, and individual response varies significantly based on baseline microbial richness.
Changing your diet quickly changes your gut bacteria, but keeping those changes requires long-term habits. If you have a diverse microbiome already, drastic dietary changes might have less impact on your bacteria than if you have low diversity. Focus on consistent, healthy eating patterns.
