Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell (ADMSC) therapy reduces body weight and improves metabolic complications (diabetes, NAFLD) in animal models, though clinical efficacy remains controversial due to low cell survival rates.

ADMSC therapy shows promise in reducing weight and improving metabolic health in animal studies, but it is not yet a standard or proven treatment for humans. Clinical efficacy is controversial, and cell survival after transplantation is low. Patients should not expect this to be a current standard of care.
