Exercise alone, independent of fat mass loss, has little to no effect on serum leptin levels in humans, as leptin primarily reflects adipose tissue mass rather than acute energy expenditure.
Don't expect exercise to magically lower your hunger hormones immediately. Leptin levels drop primarily when you lose fat mass. Consistent exercise helps by reducing that mass over time, not by an acute hormonal effect of the activity itself.
