Energy balance

Adults should perform at least 30 minutes of daily moderate-to-vigorous physical activity to maintain health, with 60 minutes recommended for weight gain prevention.

Aim for 30 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous activity every day. If you are trying to prevent weight gain, increase this to 60 minutes. You do not need to do it all at once; breaking it into 10-minute chunks throughout the day is effective.
