Mechanical vibration therapy (low frequency, low intensity) inhibits bone loss and improves bone density in postmenopausal women, particularly at the femur.

If you cannot perform high-impact exercise due to joint issues or fracture risk, consider using a whole-body vibration platform (30 Hz, low intensity) for 8-12 weeks. It can help maintain bone density, especially in the hips, and improve balance. However, it should be used as a supplement to, not a replacement for, active exercise and strength training whenever possible.
