Lipid emulsions rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) or olive oil reduce oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation compared to soybean-oil-based emulsions.
If oxidative stress is a concern, consider using lipid emulsions containing MCT or olive oil, possibly supplemented with vitamin E, as they may cause less lipid peroxidation than traditional soybean-oil-based emulsions.
