In addition, sarcopenia predicted 1-, 3- and 5-year survival (RR 1.61 95% CI 1.36–1.91 p = <0.0001, RR 1.45 95% CI 1.33–1.58 p = <0.0001, RR 1.25 95% CI 1.11–1.42 p = 0.0003, respectively) and 1- and 3-year disease-free survival (RR 1.30 95% CI 1.12–1.52 p = 0.0008).
