Dietary patterns characterized by high intake of alcohol, fast food, fried/processed foods, and meat are associated with increased subclinical cardiovascular damage (specifically higher left ventricular mass and carotid-femoral pulse-wave velocity), with associations varying significantly by generation and sex.
