Energy balance

Adding exercise to a low-carbohydrate diet improves cardiorespiratory fitness (VO2peak) and reduces systolic blood pressure, but does not provide additional weight loss benefits compared to the low-carbohydrate diet alone.

If you are doing a low-carb diet, adding exercise won't necessarily make you lose weight faster than the diet alone. However, it will significantly improve your heart health, blood pressure, and mental well-being. Do exercise for these health benefits, not just for extra weight loss.

Why this rating

RCT design with clear statistical separation of effects between LC-CON and LC-EXE groups.
