Polygenic risk scores (PRS) and genetic risk scores (GRS) can identify individuals with high genetic susceptibility to obesity, allowing for targeted preventative interventions.

While PRS can identify high-risk individuals, current scores are not precise enough for individual clinical decision-making for most people. Focus on standard healthy lifestyle habits regardless of genetic testing results.
