Adherence
Higher staffing levels in weight management programs are associated with significantly higher patient retention rates.
When choosing a weight management program, consider the staffing levels. Programs with more staff per patient are more likely to help you stay in the program and achieve your goals.
ModerateSupportsMEDIUM confidence
Compared to sites with low MOVE! staffing (< 3.4 full-time equivalents [FTEs] per 1,000 participants), sites with high staffing (7.61 or more FTEs) were almost twice as likely (OR = 1.96, 95% CI = 1.33 – 2.89) to retain patients in the program.
Why this rating
Observational study; strong association but no causal inference.
