Human aging is characterized by a progressive increase in oxidative stress, evidenced by decreased plasma antioxidant capacity and increased lipid peroxidation (MDA) and protein oxidation (carbonyls) in erythrocytes.

Aging is biologically linked to accumulating oxidative damage. You can monitor this via biomarkers like MDA and antioxidant capacity, but this paper does not prescribe a specific intervention to reverse it, only to measure it.
