Repeated exercise training produces persistent improvements in skeletal muscle insulin sensitivity through up-regulation of GLUT4, AMPK, and lipid oxidation pathways, whereas a single bout of exercise only provides a transient (approx. 48h) insulin-sensitizing effect.

To fix insulin resistance, you need to train consistently, not just occasionally. While one workout helps for a day or two, only regular exercise builds the lasting muscle adaptations (like more GLUT4 and better fat burning) that keep your blood sugar stable long-term.
