Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is highly prevalent in obese women with PCOS and contributes to insulin resistance; screening and treatment (e.g., CPAP) are recommended.

Obese women with PCOS should be screened annually for OSA, as it is common and worsens insulin resistance. Treatment with CPAP can help alleviate insulin resistance.
