If you play a team sport requiring repeated high-intensity efforts, try Repeated Sprint Training in Hypoxia (RSH). Perform 6-10 second all-out sprints with short, incomplete rest periods (e.g., 20-30 seconds rest) in a hypoxic environment (or use a mask/tent if available). This improves your ability to repeat sprints and delays fatigue during games.
RSH is therefore proposed as a promising training strategy in intermittent sports to eventually improve match-related performance... delaying fatigue and improving the ability to repeat sprints are crucial for the improved physical involvement of players.
