Frequent fast food consumption (defined as eating out or buying prepared meals at least once a week) is strongly linked to weight gain and metabolic issues. To mitigate this, limit fast food intake, as even occasional consumption adds significant calories (e.g., +130 kcal/meal) and unhealthy fats. Prioritize home-cooked meals to control energy density and nutrient quality.
