Government-imposed confinement and mobility restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic did NOT significantly alter the adherence to the Mediterranean Diet among pregnant women.
Contrary to fears, confinement did not necessarily ruin dietary habits for these pregnant women. If you already follow a healthy diet, you may be able to maintain it during restrictions.

In terms of adherence to the MD (low, medium, or high), there were no significant differences between the pre- and during COVID-19 confinement values (p = 0.672; Table 5).
