Leucine-enriched whey protein supplementation (20g whey + 3g leucine) post-exercise does not provide additional benefits for sarcopenia, muscle mass, or myokine concentrations compared to resistance training alone in post-hospitalized older adults over 12 weeks.

The study shows that taking 20g of whey protein with 3g of leucine after training did not improve muscle mass or sarcopenia outcomes more than training alone.
