Oolong tea is another food that may have some impact on increasing energy expenditure... Resting metabolic rate was increased by 3– 4 % during three days of oolong tea consumption at five cups per day. Interestingly, most of the rise in metabolic rate was from increased fat oxidation, which should have the greatest impact upon decreasing body fat stores.
