Pharmacological clearance of senescent cells using senolytics (specifically dasatinib and quercetin) extends health span and reduces age-related pathologies in mouse models.
This paper describes a preclinical strategy using specific drugs (senolytics) to clear aged cells. It is not a DIY protocol. The findings suggest that targeting cellular aging mechanisms is a viable path for extending health span, but human application requires further clinical trials to establish safety and efficacy.
