Lassailly et al. [78] found that bariatric and metabolic surgery results in resolution of NAFLD/NASH in the majority of the patients (64.2% in patients that underwent Roux-Y Gastric Bypass (RYGB) and 5.5% in Sleeve Gastrectomy (SG)). Secondly they found regression of the present liver fibrosis [78].
